Despite having a few exceptional players on its roster, the Chicago Bulls have not been able to establish themselves as one of the finest teams in the NBA this season.

Zach LaVine is one of these players and has expressed interest in joining NBA superstar LeBron James on the Los Angeles Lakers.

His impending exit, though, is not entirely up to him. The Lakers must send one of their players to Chicago in order to accomplish a deal, and despite his recent strong Lakers performances, all signs point to Russell Westbrook being the one to make the return journey.

LaVine has stated his desire to join the Lakers for some time, according to reporter Sean Deveney.

“The agents want him to be in Los Angeles, as he is a UCLA guy and they did some rattling about his contract last offseason.”
