Updating plugin on your site is the significant maintenance you need to always do on your site. Most websites support auto update plugins option where you set all the plugins to get updated automatically thus in the mean time they update themselves automatically. In this post I am going to show you how you can set your plugins to automatically update themselves in WordPress.
- CLICK ON YOUR DASHBOARD THEN PLUGINS
When you click to plugins, on installed plugins, you will be redirected to all installed plugins on your site where you will see the options to start setting your site update. check below

2. CHOOSE THE UPDATE OPTION YOU PREFER ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GIVEN PLUGIN

This will allow you to turn on plugin auto update or disable auto update in the right side of that plugin , check below on the image 1 and 2.


You see on the above images; the first image is auto updates disabled while on the second image is auto update enabled.
Once you are done in setting all your site to get done updated automatically, your plugins will be being updated automatically when update is required and you will be receiving the email when there is update done.
You will be receiving the email like this one below if there is any update happened on your site.
